About : Mike Semanko

Mike Semanko grew up in a northern Minnesota town responsible for giving the world Ralph Engelstad and that drug-crazed blonde who shot Phil Hartman.

After high school, Mike made his mark on the world playing drums in bands, most notably the Back Behind the Barn Boys, that traveled from one end of North America to the other end.

Currently, he lives in Fargo, North Dakota, with his wife and two daughters.

He plays percussion on all of the Cat Sank Trio’s myriad songs and sings one verse in one song. Hearing the show, one can understand why he sings only one verse in one song. Yet, he is loved by all, regardless of his vocal prowess, or lack thereof.
